Eye catching, fascinating and compelling; each Light Image is totally unique.

In her childhood Rhea observed subtle effects of light in nature: in running water, in clouds and the play of sunlight and shade.

1990 Rhea discovered that effects, similar to those in nature, can be created in the studio through the play of light. She called them Light Images.

1997 The first photographs were taken of these Light Images.

1999 to 2001 Rhea painted the series called 'Living Matter in Rhythm' in Cambridge. It is inspired by the observation of light in nature and the studio.

This work is similar and yet different to the exploration of light by Thomas

Wilfred, who called 'Study in Depth' a 'mobile lumia composition'.
